PEORIA —

Police used pepper balls to disperse a large July 4 brawl in Taft Homes.

According to a police report, officers responded to the large field in the center of the complex about 11 p.m. Saturday. About 300 people had congregated, with large groups of those people fighting.

Police fired five pepper balls and the crowd dispersed, the report said. Police said no one was injured and no arrests were made.

In the Summer of 2008, four of these giant Nigger riots broke out. Like always the media, the police, and the politician’s basically black the entire incident out. The HOI fair is coming up soon, and I would not be surprised if a riot doesn’t break out there like one did in 2008. These are the savage animals that are murdering, raping, shooting, stealing, and committing the majority of the crime in Peoria. It is these savage Nigger beasts that make the streets unsafe to walk on at night. It’s not white folk. It’s only going to continue to get worse. The Illinois National Socialist Front knows the score, and we know the solution. In the video below last year, when some of the INSF members were affiliated with the now defunct ANSWP, we took a stand against the nigger crime as you can see in the video below. We are not afraid to speak the truth, and white man you shouldn’t be either. Join us today, and begin the struggle for your race and nation.

When the Public Employees for Community Concerns hosted the first annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Luncheon 17 years ago, it featured local speakers and served about 200 attendees. Alma Brown, the luncheon’s chair, reported, “When we first started coordinating the luncheon, we wanted to have something on that date to commemorate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and have something that could bring the community together in fellowship, and maybe learn a little more about his life.” Attesting to the tremendous growth of this event, recent luncheons have hosted at least 2,000 people and featured nationally known speakers, and this year is no different.

On Monday, January 19th, the 17th annual luncheon at the Peoria Civic Center will feature keynote speaker Bill Cosby, King family friend. “When looking for speakers,” Brown said, “we try to find someone who had a connection with the family or someone who can share their insights of Dr. King and maybe how Dr. King touched their life, and I think Bill Cosby can speak to each one of those issues very well.”

Immediately following the luncheon, Cosby will also hold a parents’ forum for 150 local moms and dads. He will speak about his most recent book, Come on People: On the Path from Victims to Victors, and answer parents’ questions about his insights into parenthood and other related topics.

The luncheon will again be followed by the 23rd annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom March, put on by the King Holiday Committee of Peoria. A CityLink-sponsored Freedom Trolley will provide transportation from the Civic Center to Bradley University’s Garrett Center, where the march will begin at 2pm. After walking through the streets of Peoria, the march will end at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where a commemorative service and awards ceremony will take place.

For more information on the luncheon, or to purchase tickets, contact Alma Brown at 494-8554. Tickets are $40 each or $400 for a table of 10. a&s

PEORIA —

A Central Peoria man was ordered held on $150,000 bond for allegedly breaking into a South Peoria home and threatening the couple inside with a broken bottle.

Bobby Jones Jr., 41, of 1120 W. Gift Ave. faces two counts of home invasion and one count of criminal damage to property for the incident early Friday.

Assistant State’s Attorney Steve Pattelli said police were sent to the 2000 block of West Howett Street on the report of a home invasion. On their way, they were flagged down by one of the victims, who had managed to slip out of the house to call police.

Once there, they found Jones and arrested him. According to the couple, Jones had come to their house earlier and an argument ensued. They got him to leave, but he returned about 2:30 a.m., kicked the door in and threatened the couple. While the husband calmed Jones down and got him to give up the bottle, the wife slipped out and called police.

Jones denied kicking the door in and said he was there to talk about the couple owing money to someone else.

Jones will next appear in court Dec. 4 for a preliminary hearing. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison.
